Template:Minigame-infobox Meteor Melee is a General Minigame in Mario Party: Island Tour. The minigame takes place in a forest-like village of Whittles, who can be seen spectating the match from the edges of the field.

Introduction

A red Toad and a blue Toad will walk out onto the field, holding buckets. A star falls into the red Toad's bucket, while the blue Toad is knocked over by a meteor.

Gameplay

In this minigame, the players have 30 seconds to catch as many stars as they can in buckets. The color of the competitor's bucket depends on what player they are, with blue for player 1, red for player 2, green for player 3, and yellow for player 4. Each star is worth one point. Meteors also fall from the sky, and the players must avoid catching them. Catching a meteor will not award the player any points, and it will also cause the player to be knocked over. Once the time runs out, the player who collected the most stars will win.
