RE: Userbox

Hi JWad! It's YoshiKong from the chat! You needed help making a userbox? I'm here to help you!
These are the steps to making a userbox.

1. First, if you want to use the boxes on your userpage (You wouldn't have one yet, since you have not become AC) you need to set up a User Box Tower. This is kind of like a tower thingy that the userboxes go on your userpage. The main code to set it up are as follows...(just copy the code once you become AC)

{| name="userboxes" id="userboxes" style="float: right; margin-left: 1em; margin-bottom: 1ex; width: 242px; border: 1px solid #99B3FF; clear: right" |- | style="text-align: center" | Userbox Tower |- | userboxtop

2. Next is the fun part. Making a UserBox!!
This is a good example of a userbox code (yes, it looks complicated, but I'll explain each section, so dont stress)

Okay, so this is what the code above makes-

File:Marioparty9box.png

The stuff in the code that looks like this- #FFBBFF and #CCCCCC
These are actually colors, and all specific color codes can be found here
Of course, instead of typing a color code, you could just type black or red and it will come up automatically

Each part of the code makes a different part of the userbox.
The border color sets what it says.
Mainbkgd stands for main background, the right hand side of the box.
Codebkgd likewise stands for the code background, where the left-handed box text or image is set at. If you want an image to takes up this part, you need to still to set a color for this.
Codecolor changes the text color in the left-hand box. If an image is used instead, this still has to be filled in, but it will be ineffective.
Code is what is filled in the left-hand box, either text or an image. An image should not be more than 40 X 40 pixels
Msg, likewise, is what is filled in on the right-hand side. Wiki code can be used. You can type just about any message here. Maybe, when you make a userbox, you could type This user is friends with JWad and give it to other users to put on their userbox towers.

Use the userbox code I gave you as a template and fill in your own individual infomation.
Maybe you could upload your own personal image for your userbox, then go here and follow the instructions.

3.At the end of this code, type userboxbottom This goes after the main code and all of your userboxes. So, userboxes would go in between the Main Code and userboxbottom

If you have any more questions about anything, then just message me on my talk page! BYE!!

P.S.By the way, do you want to be my friend? I'll give you my userbox!!
