This haunted Bobbery all the time, giving him nightmares. Not long before her death, Scarlette gave [[Podley]] an [[Old Letter]], telling him to give it to Bobbery. Podley inteded to give it to him, though when he saw Bobbery in sadness, he couldn't do it. From this time to the start of Chapter 5, the letter was kept in [[Podley's Pad]].
