|Before the heroes enter the level's first Barrel Cannon, they must dodge raining fireballs. In the center of this area is the letter K.

|Immediately after the third [[Puzzle Piece (Donkey Kong Country Returns)|Puzzle Piece]], the heroes can find a basalt rock hanging from the ceiling with the letter O right under it.

|When the primates reach the long, thin platform near the end of the level that holds the fifth Puzzle Piece, they can find many bobbing platforms under it. They should travel along these platforms to reach the letter N under the thin platform.

|On the last three basalt platforms, the primates can find the letter G between the first and second platform. They should stand on the first platform for a while to make it sink and then jump to the next to grab the letter G on the way.

|When the Kongs begin the level, they can find an object behind them that can be broken open to reveal the first Puzzle Piece.

|Near the beginning of the level when the Kongs find the second Tiki Doom on a basalt rock, they should bounce on the foe to reach the second Puzzle Piece, which is high in the air.

|Shortly before the letter O, the Kongs find themselves climb up through a passage in a sinking structure. If they collect all of the bananas in this area, the third Puzzle Piece appears on the first platform after the structure's exit.

|Soon after the checkpoint, the Kongs can find a tall, bobbing platform of basalt that dips completely into the lava. Above this platform is a hidden Barrel Cannon. When the platform bobs upwards to its highest point, the primates can jump up and reach the Barrel Cannon, which shoots them to a [[Bonus Level]] where they must collect sixty bananas, two Banana Coins, and two [[Red Balloon]]s around many platforms that are constantly moving downwards. Once everything is grabbed before the thirty seconds are up, a Puzzle Piece appears.

|On the platform above the letter N, the primates can find a fan. If they blow on it long enough, a Puzzle Piece falls from the sky along with many bananas.

|Near the checkpoint, a DK Barrel can be found. The Kongs should carry it past the letter N to a small platform floating behind a wall just after the end of the long line of jumping fireballs. A wall is near here that they can break open to access a Bonus Level. Here, they must bounce on a moving trampoline to grab many floating collectibles, including many bananas and four Banana Coins. Once everything is collected, a Puzzle Piece appears.

|On the solid platform just before the letter G, the Kongs can find a few helicopter plants growing on the basalt. If they blow on them, one of the plants reveals the seventh and final Puzzle Piece.
