*The plot synopsis is similar to that of Tails in Charge from the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, another show produced by DIC Entertainment. Both episodes center around the secondary protagonist (Luigi and Tails respectively) as the main protagonists are knocked out or become unresponsive for the majority of the episode because of the villain's weapons (Mario with a poisonous snake and Sonic with the Stopper Zapper).
