Belcha the Barrel is a giant animate barrel and the boss of the area Lake Orangatanga in the game Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, found in the level Belcha's Barn. He is the game's first boss.

Belcha is immune to all of Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong's ordinary attacks. To defeat Belcha, the Kongs must jump on the barrels Belcha spits out. These barrels contain Knik-Knaks inside of them. The Kongs must flip these Knik-Knaks on their backs by jumping on top of them and then throw them into Belcha's mouth. This causes Belcha to burp (hence his name), recoiling the barrel backwards. If the Kongs can cause Belcha to burp enough times, he will send himself straight into a nearby pit. He will then be stuck and unable to cause further harm to the Kongs. If the Kongs fail to defeat Belcha, he will eventually push the apes into a nearby pit (which has a turbine in it in the Game Boy Advance version of Donkey Kong Country 3). The minimum number of Knik-Knaks needed to be swallowed by Belcha in order to be beaten is two, if done quickly enough. He can be beaten in a matter of seconds. In the Game Boy Advance version of Donkey Kong Country 3, Cranky Kong states that Belcha would make good firewood.
