Bluster runs Kongo Bongo Island's resident barrel factory, which is actually owned by his mother (an unseen character). Occasionally, he speaks with his mother on a Mobile phone. He is the stereotypical rich, spoiled coward. He is constantly hitting on Candy Kong, his lone employee, despite the fact that she's dating Donkey Kong. Bluster is often considered a "spineless worm".

History
Often, Bluster's attempts to impress Candy or help one of the other Kongs leads to more harm than good. Some episodes actually focused around this character insight, such as "From Zero to Hero", in which Bluster, thinking that he was going to die within a week after hearing Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, and Cranky Kong seemingly talking about his x-ray pictures (they were actually talking about Cranky's x-ray machine). Another example of this is "Get a Life, Don't Save One", where Donkey Kong saves Bluster during an accident, and Bluster, indebted to DK, starts saving him from practically everything, even anything that's not really threatening.

On their way, they are captured by the crocodiles and Leo Luster turns back into Bluster. The Kongs need Leo's hypnotizing powers to escape, but they have no serum. Donkey Kong encourages to find the Leo Luster within himself, as he believes that the serum only brought the Leo Luster part of him out. Bluster turns himself back into Leo with Donkey Kong's reasoning, and he hypnotizes the Kremlings so that they can free the primates and get back the Crystal Coconut. Afterward, Leo Luster turns back into Bluster once and for all.

Personality
Bluster is portrayed as a rich stereotype; arrogant, rude, snooty, and selfish. He often rubs his wealth in Donkey Kong's face, who really could care less. He has a crush on Candy, and often hits on her in order to get on a date with her, which fails. Bluster though has a soft side, as there were times where he'd tried to help others out, but did more harm than good. Most of the time he's selfish and cowardly, but despite that he does seem to care about his friends, especially Candy.
Interactions
Donkey Kong: DK and Bluster are often seen as rivals; as they both have a crush on the same girl, Candy. However Candy chooses Dk over Bluster, and there are many episodes where Bluster tries to prove that he's better than DK. Bluster at times seems like he hates DK, seeing him as an idiot and a fool as portrayed in the first episode, even admitting he can't stand him. Though in episodes such as Get A Life, Don't Save one indicates Bluster does in deed care about Dk, even if he won't admit it. There were even episodes where Bluster Has been useful and helped DK out. Although Dk can get annoyed with Bluster, and is disgusted by his selfish side, He does in fact care about him, though he does get annoyed with him.
Diddy Kong: Diddy and Bluster don't really see eye to eye. Diddy thinks of Bluster as a selfish jerk whose nothing more than a mama's boy whose messes up and makes him and Dk look bad. Bluster and Diddy don't have much interaction except when he's with DK. There were times where Bluster has taken advantage of Diddy and DK as seen in The Big Chill Out making them do all the work and taking the credit. Bluster however Does seem to care about Diddy as seen in Speak No Evil Dude where he was concerned when Diddy contracted Kongo Bongo Gone Wrongo Disease. Diddy also at times seems to care about Bluster as he helped Dk go save him a few times.
Candy Kong: Bluster has an enormous crush on Candy; always finding ways to try and woo her into being his girlfriend, which she always refuses. Because she works at the Barrel factory owned by him mom, Bluster also has treated her like an employee, always getting mad at her for being late, and not giving her raises. Bluster has once threatened to fire Candy at times, but despite that, he often hits on her. Candy doesn't necessarily Hate Bluster, but she does get disgusted with him, especially for his rude side and the fact he hits on her. In It's A Wonderful Life when Dk wishes he was never born, Bluster and Candy are married.
Cranky Kong: Cranky, out of all the Kongs, seems to despise Bluster the most for obvious Reasons. He sees him as nothing more than a spoiled mama's boy. He even has an extra large needle for Bluster when it comes to vacinations. Bluster in turn doesn't really care much for Cranky, though there were times where they seemed to care about each other. Bluster has admitted that Cranky and him are friends, even showing concerned when Cranky, in Best of Enemies, was falling off Funky's plane and in Get A Life Don't Save One, Cranky alerted Dk that Bluster was Kidnapped by K.Rool, Indicating that the two do care for one another.
Funky Kong: Bluster and Funky don't really seem to interact much, but Funky, like the others, gets annoyed with Bluster, and Bluster see's Funky as weird. The only episodes where they truly interacted were ""Hooray for Holle-Kongo Bongo." where Bluster gets on Funky's nerves when he takes credit for the movie he wrote, and Buried Treasure Where the two are paired up in getting the little barrel that was thought to be a doomsday device. In the end of the Episode, Funky was willing to get to know Bluster while they were trapped under a mine Kart.
Dixie Kong: Bluster and Dixie don't really interact with each other, but like the others, Dixie is disgusted with Bluster's attitude. Bluster seems to treat her a little kinder though out of all the Kongs. Dixie has shown concerned for him when Bluster, in From Zero to Hero when he thought he was dying, when to get the Crystal Coconut back from King K.Rool and warned the others.
