Remix course: Difference between revisions

A '''remix''' course<ref><tt>remix</tt> internal name of the folder containing the data about the newly introduced courses in ''Mario Kart Tour''</ref> is a type of course introduced in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'' that borrows features from a specific [[classic course]] and incorporates them around a new track layout, alongside new elements. The names of these courses have an "RMX" designation followed by the name of the course that serves as their basis. These courses are the only ones in the game to show the designation in the course name underneath the icon, as classic courses do not show this until the player taps the icon to select the driver. Remix courses debuted in the [[Mario Bros. Tour]] with the introduction of [[RMX Mario Circuit 1]]. Currently there are no remix courses based on the [[Donut Plains]], [[Koopa Beach]] or [[Bowser%27s_Castle#Mario_Kart_series|SNES Bowser Castle]] courses, while [[RMX Bowser's Castle 1]] is based on the [[Bowser's Castle#Mario Kart series|GBA Bowser's Castle]] courses instead of the SNES courses.
