The '''blunderbuss''' is [[Kaptain K. Rool]]'s weapon he carries with him during the events of ''[[Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest]]'' and ''[[Donkey Kong Land 2]]''. It is able to fire [[Kannonball]]s, spiked Kannonballs, barrels, and status-afflicting mists, which either freeze, slow, or disorient its targets. Ammunition can be fired at different heights and as various shots - straight, bouncy, and swirly. The blunderbuss may be used as a vacuum to pull in targets, whereupon the user can strike them with the butt of the gun. Additionally, it can also be used as a means of movement, thrusting the user forward at high speeds by aiming it in the opposite direction and using the jet propulsion with the barrel acting as the exhaust. However, if anything is jammed inside the barrel of the gun, the blunderbuss will misfire and explode in the holder's face.
