The handheld itself is yellow, and there's a big blue wheel to control the plane. The player is supposed to simply avoid the 'roids. They are red too, but they have three holes in them that make the meteors look like a face. The second difficulty introduces a giant comet. When two little comets come from the side, the big one will be smack in the middle. The player will have just enough space to squirm through the meteors. The third difficulty tries to trick whoever's playing. As soon as the player starts, an asteroid will slowly fall towards him. Don't fly to the side, because two very fast comets start to crash down from the side. After they pass, then the sides are safe.

Gameplay

The player controls an airplane. The objective of the game is to tilt the GBA to steer and avoid the meteors. If do so, the game is won. However, if the airplane gets hit by a meteor, the player will lose the microgame.

  • Level 1: Avoid three meteors.
  • Level 2: Avoid two meteors and a big one on the middle.
  • Level 3: A meteor will fall on the middle, but others in the sides will fall faster, or vice-versa.

The player must score 10 points or more to clear the microgame.

Trivia

  • Avoid-A-Roid is the minigame played in the intro of the game, only there's no yellow handheld or steering wheel.
