Yeah, no. This might actually deserve a {{tem|lastwarn}}. Well for the record he was rude to me first. I just wrote the truth. I didn't mean everyone. But yeah I will try to not write something like this again. Yeah thanks for the explanation. I don't know that because I never played Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

== Comments ==
Please format your comments properly. Most of your double linebreaks are not needed (do not end your comments with a double linebreak with a signature; the signature should instead end the comment without any formatting changes except for a space after the comment) and serve to unnecessarily extend the length of the page. Use doubleline breaks instead to break up paragraphs. Also, please use one linebreak coupled with <nowiki>:</nowiki> indents to directly reply to users' comments. If you must reply to multiple comments, do it through paragraphs. {{User:Mario/sig}} 21:04, May 16, 2024 (EDT)

Do not enact proposals before the deadline or makes changes identical to the overarching goals set by your proposal.[https://www.mariowiki.com/index.php?title=Mario_%26_Luigi_(series)&curid=12787&diff=4213510&oldid=4213496] You currently have one proposal related to the changes you are making ("Merge Ports, Remakes, Remasters, Collections etc. into Main series") and it is strongly advised you do not make edits in this fashion while this proposal is ongoing. Please review [[MarioWiki:Warning policy]] and your prior warnings and proceed with caution. {{User:Mario/sig}} 01:03, May 17, 2024 (EDT)
== Mario Party series thing ==
Hey Big Super Mario Fan, I have noticed a while ago that you have merged lists on several series pages together, before your actual proposal about this ("Merge Ports, Remakes, Remasters, Collections etc. into Main series") has ended (and even if it did, it would not have gone through anyway since it only had 1 support against 14 opposes). I specifically want to talk about the ''Mario Party'' series though, since [https://www.mariowiki.com/index.php?title=Mario_Party_%28series%29&type=revision&diff=4213515&oldid=4212548 you basically put in every handheld title but Mario Party-e in the list with all the console titles and retitled that "Main series"]. Ignoring the fact that this isn't even covered in your proposal at all (which means this shouldn't be done even if your proposal successfully ended)... ''why are you considering the handheld titles as mainline?'' Given that ''[[Mario Party: The Top 100]]'' and ''[[Mario Party Superstars]]'' ONLY cover content from Mario Party 1-10, without ''any'' from the handheld titles, that should confirm that not even Nintendo themselves view the handheld titles as mainline titles. Moreover, ''[[Mario Party DS]]'' is also the ''only'' one of the handheld titles that actually plays like the originals: the other titles all feature completely different gameplay, especially ''Mario Party Advance'', which is more single-player focused. {{User:Arend/sig}} 13:25, May 18, 2024 (EDT)
It doesn't have anything to do with a Proposal. I just listed the Mario Party games like Nintendo does.

:Sigh... two things:
:#"It doesn't have anything to do with a Proposal." ''That does not make it better.'' You do realize that considering every handheld Mario Party game but one a mainline title is perhaps a ''bigger'' change than considering every rerelease of a game to be a mainline title, or at the very least on the same level. And so, this ''also'' needs a proposal, or at the very least needs to be discussed. You can't just make these big changes as if it's nothing!
:#Yeah uh, the [https://www.nintendo.com/jp/character/mario/en/history/index.html Mario Portal's History page] that you've provided? That doesn't only list mainline Mario Party titles, or only Mario Party titles: it actually lists ''every game in the Super Mario franchise, without any sort of distinction''. Using THAT as your source of ''every'' Mario Party title being a mainline Mario Party title is downright ridiculous, because, as I just said, it doesn't make any sort of distinction between any of these titles. Nowhere does it say which ones are mainlines, spinoffs or rereleases to which series, or which ones belong to which subseries to begin with. You might as well say that ''[[Super Mario Strikers]]'' is a mainline ''[[Super Mario (series)|Super Mario]]'' title just because "Super Mario" is in the title, AND is listed here as well. It's very faulty logic. I've already stated [[Talk:Super Mario (series)#Main series|here]] that using the Mario Portal as a source for what counts as a mainline ''Super Mario'' title doesn't say anything ''because'' it just haplessly lists every Mario title without making distinctions, and the same applies to what counts as mainline ''Mario Party'' games.
:If you wanted to ''actually'' list ''Mario Party'' games like Nintendo does... again, they do that in ''[[Mario Party: The Top 100]]'' and ''[[Mario Party Superstars]]''. Also, just so you know, basically the reason we have divided Mario Party titles by home console game and handheld game is because we're unsure where games such as ''[[Super Mario Party]]'' and ''Mario Party Superstars'' fall into, given they're still home console releases that play like the classic Mario Party games from 1 to 8, but aren't numbered. {{User:Arend/sig}} 18:35, May 18, 2024 (EDT)
::Actually, Mario Portal does make distinctions between series, there's an option on that page to filter by specific series. But yeah, I'm not sure that makes it worth reorganising the Mario Party games over it, they probably just forgot about Mario Party-e's existence. There's also the oddity of "Super Mario RPG" being listed as a series containing only the original game and its remake, while the two Mario + Rabbids games, which we [[Mario + Rabbids (series)|do have a series page for]], are the only games listed there to not be classified in a series. {{User:Hewer/sig}} 06:02, May 19, 2024 (EDT)
== Asking others users to vote in your proposals ==
Hi! According to [[MarioWiki:Courtesy]], you're not allowed to ask other users to vote in proposals. Some examples of this are [https://www.mariowiki.com/Special:MobileDiff/4217952 here] and [https://www.mariowiki.com/Special:MobileDiff/4217951 here]. Please don't do this anymore. Thanks! {{User:Sparks/sig}} 18:29, May 18, 2024 (EDT)
== Proposal vote solicting ==
One of the bullet points in [[MarioWiki:Courtesy#Discourteous behavior]] reads "'''''(Users should not) solicit votes from other users.''' Do not ask other users to vote for anything, period. While this is mainly directed at proposals, it applies to FAs, elections, and any other voting that takes place on the Super Mario Wiki. Even if you don't explicitly ask your friends to support your cause (or to join you in opposing something), simply contacting them makes it look like you're fishing for votes in your favor. The only time you are allowed to draw someone's attention to a vote is when a proposal concerns a subject that is important to them. Far from an act of discourtesy, giving them a heads-up about some possible changes being made to that subject would be a very considerate thing to do. Furthermore, if the validity or rationale behind someone's vote is being questioned, you can contact the voter and ask them to check back in on the matter, which may result in them changing their vote.''" Therefore, please do not leave messages in users' talk pages asking to vote in your proposals. {{User:Nightwicked Bowser/sig}} 18:30, May 18, 2024 (EDT)
@Nightwicked Bowser
Sorry, but I didn't know that. I haven't read the rules for this wiki. There are far to many. I won't do it anymore.
Now I'm banned for 2 weeks.
I was blocked today. But, you know what? I'll be back soon. Of course I'll think about it again and maybe I should read the rules. I'll have to try it again in 2 weeks. Hopefully with more success. But one last question? What happens to my proposals?
[[User:Big Super Mario Fan|Big Super Mario Fan]] ([[User talk:Big Super Mario Fan|talk]]) 21:37, May 18, 2024 (EDT)
:Your proposals still go on, although your vote won't count because you're blocked. If the proposals were to pass, it'd be up to the supporters to enact them. {{User:Sparks/sig}} 21:41, May 18, 2024 (EDT)
