Rome Avanti returns in ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'' as the first course of the [[Acorn Cup]] in the [[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass|Booster Course Pass]].

The course starts in {{wp|Via del Corso}}, facing the {{wp|Victor Emmanuel II Monument}}. Just after the starting line, the player takes a slight left turn in {{wp|Piazza Venezia}} and enters a road leading inside the [[Colosseum]]. After a spiral loop with [[Swoop]]s ending with a [[ramp]], the player is sent to the {{wp|Roman Forum}}, which is littered with fallen columns that can be used to obtain [[Jump Boost]]s. The player must then take a U-turn to the right of the {{wp|Arch of Septimius Severus}} and a left turn in {{wp|Piazza del Campidoglio}}. Afterwards, the player takes a tight right and left turn leading near the {{wp|Fountain of Neptune, Rome|Fountain of Neptune}} in {{wp|Piazza Navona}}, after which they must make a right U-turn in {{wp|Piazza del Popolo}} leading to the finish line.

Rome Avanti returns in ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'', as part of the sixth and final wave of the [[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass|Booster Course Pass]] DLC. It is the first course of the [[Acorn Cup]]. The course has vast visual improvements and upgrades compared to its ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'' appearance. Like other ''Mario Kart Tour'' city-courses, this iteration of the track combines the course's three routes together into one continuous route that occupies three laps. Rome Avanti 2R is briefly incorporated when passing between {{wp|Piazza Navona}} and {{wp|Piazza del Popolo}}, though the route switches to Rome Avanti 2 after. The fallen columns in the {{wp|Roman Forum}} have been removed, and players can now take a shortcut under the {{wp|Arch of Septimius Severus}}. {{wp|Piazza del Campidoglio}} has been fully opened up on both laps it is traversed. The [[Trevi Fountain]] is now properly flowing, rather than being static as in ''Mario Kart Tour'', and its waters can now be driven through as an [[Underwater driving|underwater section]]. The [[Glide Ramp]] in Piazza Navona has been made smaller.
