Template:Minigame-infobox Balloon Fight is a microgame from WarioWare: Smooth Moves in 9-Volt & 18-Volt's stage. It is a 3D version of the Balloon Trip mode from Balloon Fight for NES, and is also an extra minigame accessed via the main map screen.

Gameplay

The player must hold the Wii Remote and swing it up and down as if they are attempting to fly. This will make the Balloon Fighter fly. If the player swings the remote, the character hovers. If the player does not, the character slowly floats downwards, and possibly gets eaten by the fish. These moves are used to pass under or over electric orbs or to knock down enemy balloon birds to avoid losing the microgame. The player must float in the air without taking damage until the time runs out to win.
