'''User:Another gossip-loving Toad''' is a ''Mario'' fan from China. His favorite game is ''[[Paper Mario]]'', especially because conversations in the game show a variety of the English language. He also likes speedruns, including TASes.

Things are different in China. Most Chinese people had only played one ''Mario'' game, ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]''; they thought the character [[Mario]] was created just to participate in ''Super Mario Bros.'', so they called him "super Mary", because "Mario" wasn't a common name. A few people in China who had played more ''Mario'' games began to call him "Mario", recognizing him as a character independent from any particular game.

There was conflict, however, because most ''Mario'' fans liked the term "Mǎli'ào" while Nintendo stuck to calling him "Mǎlì'ōu". Now there is still disagreement. Someone has even posted comics satirizing Nintendo's stubbornness: [http://tieba.baidu.com/photo/p?kw=3ds&flux=1&tid=2099385082&pic_id=4af33d6d55fbb2fb863d32db4f4a20a44723dc86&pn=1&fp=2&see_lz=1] [http://tieba.baidu.com/p/2100557169]

In short, the answer is:
* "超级玛丽" (''chāojí Mǎlì'') by ordinary people
* "马里奥" (''Mǎli'ào'') by most Mario fans
* "马力欧" (''Mǎlì'ōu'') by Nintendo

This user is suffering from psychological problems since 2016. The symptom is roughly the same as in Karen Horney's The Neurotic Personality of Our Time. He decides that his neurosis would be alleviated if he became unable to use this account.

The way he will "abandon" his account is this: type a hard-to-remember password (like fdsklfhdsafsdkajfhsdkjaf) on Notepad, use it to reset this account, and then delete the password quickly. This ensures that he will never be able to re-login.

Anyway, I'm sorry for almost everything I did in the User talk namespace since 2016.
