In battle, Yellow Magikoopas can electrify one of their allies at a time, but otherwise fire a magic blast or strike [[Mario]] with their magic wand, both attacks dealing three points of damage. Sometimes Yellow Magikoopas ride brooms, but this doesn't affect their stats in any way, except [[hammer]] attacks will miss. When alone, they [[flee]] from battle.

Yellow Magikoopas appear in [[Flower Fields]] and the [[Crystal Palace]], but like other types of Magikoopa, are never found outside of battle.
