'''World 1''' is the first world of ''[[Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island]]'' and ''[[Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3]]''. The world contains eight normal [[levels]]; its Extra Stage is Extra 1: [[Poochy Ain't Stupid]], and its Secret Stage is Secret 1: [[Exercise in the Skies]]. The world's theme is a grassy plain in spring. Collecting 800 points (700 in the remake) will unlock the [[Flip Cards]] [[Bonus Challenge]] to play anytime.

The opening portion of the [[Yoshi's Island (race course)|Yoshi's Island]] course in the ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass]]'' is based on World 1.
