As its name indicates, the kart is the successor of the [[Waluigi Racer]] from ''[[Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]]'' and even incorporates a similar body design. The kart gains a front bumper as well as a yellow stripe down the middle of the body and the ''[[Mario Kart (series)|Mario Kart]]'' logo on the spoiler, while also losing both handlebars seen on the original kart. The kart uses a purple-rimmed version of the [[Red Comet]]'s tires and the emblem is located at the front of the kart.
