Tiles of terrain are objects in Donkey Kong Bananza. They are tiles that almost always occur in groups. Donkey Kong can stand on or perform a Hand Slap near a tile to emerge it. Typically, tiles are made of pure gold and found in secluded or high areas, commonly in Challenge Courses. During Emerald Rushes, these tiles convert to emerald ore. A few tiles made of Boom Rock are found in the Refinery Offices of the Canyon Layer. Rubber tiles are found in the hall to Melody Source in the Groove Layer. One of Tempest Layer's Challenge Courses features lava tiles. When they emerge, aesthetic flames briefly appear. Lava tiles cannot emerge by a Hand Slap. The sound that a tile makes when emerging varys based on terrain: Gold tiles and emerald tiles, and Boom Rock tiles and rubber tiles share a sound, while lava tiles get a distinct sound.

| It was hot that night... I couldn't sleep, and it was too late for minin', so I took a stroll to admire the stars through the cave-in's opening... Suddenly, a loud pinging sound echoed from the night sky! And a green star flashed in the distance! Then this tiny banana-shaped remote thingy fell down here from the sky! It smashed into pieces, and it creeped me out somethin' fierce...so I left it right here where it fell. | On a purple platform near some water below Baboomtown. | Only available in the post-game. | ||

Draft policy
All events' date must have a citation on the wiki. Uncited events may be removed. If the event's date of occurrence has a citation, but a better one is needed, the event may be added with {{better source}} at the end. Up to four events may be added for each day. Generally, if multiple events occured on the same day, only one should be added. Major events, such as game, DLC, and film releases, have the highest priority. In-game events can be added, but they have a low priority. Releases for all regions count, so the North American and Japan releases of a product can be counted separately. Game updates may be included as long as the updates add actual content. Minor patches should not be included.
