I decided to add a new space for "Major characters" for Super Paper Mario.
While 3 of them are debatable, it's inaccurate to label Nastasia as a minor character as she is the secondary antagonist of the game, appears in almost every Chapter intermission, is the first character to seriously try to talk Bleck out of his plans, and is responsible for brainwashing most of the "normal" Mario enemies fighting you.
I get why she was added to Minor Characters since she's technically only an NPC and never a boss or playable character, but I think this is a fair change as she's the one character there who doesn't fit.
Merlon is a rather important secondary character, being the game's main guide in Flipside, helping us find out where to go next in pretty much every Chapter and being the main interpreter of the Prophecy, and being a major part of Tippi's story
Merlee is a recurring character who's pretty important in Chapter 2, despite only appearing at the end of said Chapter.
Squirps, Nolrem, Merlee, and Luvbi are debatable, but Squirps and Luvbi are pretty important supporting characters who are the main stars of their Chapters and Nolrem is a relatively important counterpart to Merlon, though I can take or leave him.
I think a Major Characters section is good because for Nastasia, Merlon, Squirps, and Luvbi in particular, I think they're too important to the plot and their Chapter plots to be lumped in with the massive dump of random minor and supporting characters.
