Template:Reflist

This template is used for creating reference lists, like <references/>, except it detects whether it is used for footnotes, in which case it automatically uses letters instead of numbers as list item markers.

Usage

{{reflist|group=|refs=}}

• If the group parameter is specified, the reference list will include all references with a matching group attribute.
• A list of named references can be specified as the refs parameter. This is equivalent to inserting a list of references into a references tag.

Footnote groups

The footnotes group is used for whole-article footnotes that go at the bottom of the page in the "Footnotes" section (a subsection of "Footnotes and references" if references are present as well); footnotes within infoboxes should use this group. The numbered footnotes groups (footnotes1, footnotes2, footnotes3, etc.) are used for in-article footnotes sections such as those below tables.
