Talk:Super Guide Block

From the Super Mario Wiki, the Mario encyclopedia
  • In New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, after using the Super Guide Block, the stars on the player's save file remain shiny instead of not being shiny.

Is this actually true? What is the source?

I haven't found any other source confirming this fact on the internet. The person who wrote it has been banned from the site. He wrote it in this revision: https://www.mariowiki.com/index.php?title=Super_Guide_Block&diff=2699826&oldid=2699022

It would be a bummer if somebody reads this, activates the superguide for testing purposes and ruins his/her shiny stars. I myself am going to start over my save because I used a superguide block but cannot verify the fact and do not trust the source. Jerdaz (talk) 10:16, September 27, 2019 (EDT)

Just a note that being blocked alone does not necessarily impact the veracity of a given statement. Now if the block had been for something like inserting false information, rather than what they'd actually been blocked for...

In regards to the question, someone thought of that months ago and posted it there. There's probably gonna be far more required than just that link, but it should be a start towards a definitive answer. --ExdeathIcon.png Lord G. matters. ExdeathIcon.png 18:06, September 27, 2019 (EDT)
