:I think it was added in back before Koopa Troopa and Koopa (species) sorted out their differences, and it was just never updated. They're definitely not Koopa Troopas. 17:52, 2 August 2017 (EDT)

::Going by the Japanese name, it seems more likely that they're a second attempt at a bipedal Spiny after Spikey. The somewhat sunken eye design bears resemblance, although it's a bit hard to tell for sure what they were going for with these early N64 graphics. Perhaps change it to "Spinies" since "Miscellaneous Koopas" tends to be a little more exclusive? LinkTheLefty (talk) 06:10, 26 November 2017 (EST)

:::I was actually considering bringing that up, but I decided I'd wait. So yeah, beat me to it, I was thinking the same thing, though I had forgotten about the previous attempt. I had been hoping that Key-pa-Way would be put in The Top 100 just to see if they'd be updated without being replaced, but yeah, tenuous hope for small reward I guess. To be frank though, we have as much proof these are intended to be Spinies as we do proof that Tutankoopa is intended to be a Magikoopa, ie it's highly probable, but still should probably get some community support first due to the many differences. ::::Spike Koopa's Japanese name is only one character off from Spiny whereas Tutankoopa's may be entirely based on Tutankhamun rather than Kamek, so I think the connection is stronger name-wise. LinkTheLefty (talk) 06:38, 26 November 2017 (EST)
:::::Nokobon Metto isn't a Nokonoko, but it is a Metto that acts like a Nokobon. Just saying. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 06:43, 26 November 2017 (EST)
::::::...On that note, shouldn't Noko Bombette be considered both a Bombshell Koopa and Buzzy Beetle, à la some of the other hybrid species? :::::::Fishing Boo isn't a Boo, that's another Woolseyism thing. It's a "Spook" in Japanese, no relation to Boos. Anyways, I'm not believing in a hybrid-type Koopa, there's a reason we don't consider Spike Top a Spiny and only consider it a Buzzy. Also, most of the things you mentioned are undead equivalents, ie what things become when they die. Nobody's dying with Noko Bombette, and it's clearly not derivative of any Troopa. The name is just saying "This is the Nokobon equivalent to a Metto." Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 07:33, 26 November 2017 (EST)
:::::::::It doesn't even look like a Koopa! It... It looks like a bidepal Axew with a spiny shell. -- 03:04, 10 February 2019 (EST)
