Unlike the red, yellow, and blue ones, this one has appeared also as its own item in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]''; this is actually the main reason it has its own article. Please keep it separate. Per [[MarioWiki:Naming#Name changes]] (specifically, the exceptions) and the [[MarioWiki:Proposals/Archive_51#Smash_Bros._Articles:_What_Stays_and_What_Goes.3F|recent ''Smash''-related propsal]], how about renaming this article either "Green Block" or "Green ! Block"? After all, that's what it's called in ''Mario 64''; "Metal Box" is a [[wikipedia:Beam me up, Scotty|Beam me up, Scotty]]-ism, as only the ''Smash'' series calls it that.

The [[Talk:Super_Bowser#Include_information_on_all_of_Bowser.27s_Giant_forms|new Super Bowser proposal]] doesn't acknowledge Giant Bowser's name from the ''Super Smash Bros.'' series (albeit "Giant" replaces "Super" forms), and we also had a [[Talk:Triforce (symbol)#Split Triforce Arcade and LoZ Triforce|proposal]] that moved the ''Zelda'' series' Triforce to an identifier over the more ''Mario''-relevant arcade board, so I suppose this depends on how much we want to pull out of ''Super Smash Bros.''-related content. If we had articles for Red Block and Blue Block from ''Super Mario 64'', I'd say definitely to keep consistency with the three. :I'd like to point out that "Giant Bowser" is never used as an actual name, even in the ''Smash'' series, despite it being a very commonly used fan term. When it is stated in Melee, I think it is meant to be interpreted as "Bowser who is giant" not as the actual name/title of Giant Bowser. The reason it's called Super Bowser is not because it's more relevant to the ''Mario'' series, it's because, contrary to popular belief, Giant Bowser is never a term used by Nintendo.

::Every Super Mushroom-sized fighter in Classic Mode is referred to as their "Giant" form; thus, Giant Bowser is technically an in-game term used by Nintendo, only for ''Smash Bros.'' If we do get another ''Mario'' appearance for this block and gets "Green Block" as an official name, then we can reconsider. I don't consider it a "ridiculous" rename proposal, as bringing up our priority on Smash names vs. Mario names is a valid point.
