If all 4 players are skilled, no one COM, when 60 seconds passed and no one has touched a podoboo, it might end in a draw. --[[User:AJOMarioWiki|AJOMarioWiki]] ([[User talk:AJOMarioWiki|talk]]) 02:32, October 28, 2023 (EDT)

In Mario Party 2 & 3, characters each have their own "favorite items." I'm inclined to believe that this means that, when controlled by AI, a character is more likely to purchase their favorite item (or steal it from their opponent when properly equipped) than others, but I'm not entirely sure. In playing these games, I have noticed this behavior but I won't add it to the page unless it's a confirmed algorithm (because it could just be placebo or happenstance). Does anyone know if "favorite item" has any meaning, or is it just there to add flavor to the different characters?
