This is a continuation of a [[Talk:! Switch#Merge Purple Switch here, split Cap Switch, or both|previous]] proposal as well as a redo of the above. Simply put, what we have right now is a half-measure. Cap Switch was split from ! Switch, but the block equivalent remains unsplit, and the ''Super Mario 64'' and ''Super Mario 64 DS'' versions of both are still peppered throughout multiple articles. This proposal aims to simplify linkage, maintain consistency, and hopefully finish the job started by the previous proposal. Here is the summary for why it ought to be its own article:
