Type 4-Player mini-game
Time limit 45 seconds

Mazed & Confused is a 4-Player minigame found in Mario Party 5. The name is a pun on the term "dazed and confused," which comes from a song made famous by Led Zeppelin in 1967 and which was later used as the title of a film in 1993.

Players start at the corners of a rectangular maze. The goal is to make it to the center. However, there are pegs creating a grid throughout the maze. Electrical barriers appear and change frequently, meaning players have to find a way around them. If a player touches an electrical barrier, they are stunned for a moment. The first player to reach the center of the maze wins. The color trail is character-dependent (e.g., Mario's is red, Peach's is pink, and Waluigi's is black).
