Template:Minigame-infobox Crank to Rank is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 8 and is set to return in Mario Party: The Top 100.

Introduction

Four players are seen standing in front of Princess Peach's Castle (which looks like a smaller version of the castle in Super Mario 64). They all run over to their respective flagpoles nearby, and stand in front of them, with their hands on the wheel.

Gameplay

The four players must crank their flagpole by swinging the Wii Remote in circles. The first one to get the flag up to the top is the winner.

Ending

Fireworks explode behind the castle, and the winning player performs their respective victory pose while losing players sulk.

In-game text

  • Rules"Turn the crank to raise the flag to the top."
  • Hint"The flag doesn't rise unless you crank in the correct direction."
