They are generally harmless, since they only sleep. Running into or jumping onto one results in Donkey Kong being bounced back. Nap Butapoppos can be attacked by using the [[Sound Wave Attack]], causing it to flip over, dazed. It can then be punched until defeated (generally fifteen punches), causing it to "explode". They leave behind five [[Banana|beats]].
