'''Shell Shot''' is one of the default moves available to [[Parakarry]], in ''[[Paper Mario]]'' and can be performed at the cost of 3 [[Flower Point|FP]]. Shell Shot can be used against any foe, regardless of location. 

The [[Action Command]] for Shell Shot requires the player to tilt the Control Stick to the left, and release it when the targeting cursor is lined up with the enemy, similar to [[Yoshi|Yoshi's]] egg toss in ''[[Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island]]'' and [[Yoshi's Island DS|its sequel]]. If the player releases the stick at the wrong time, the attack will miss completely. Every enemy has a unique hitbox used for this attack as well as for [[Spiny Flip]].

In ''[[Paper Mario: The Origami King]]'', Shell Shot can be used by various shelled enemies: [[Koopa Troopa]]s, [[Spiny|Spinies]], and [[Spike Top]]s. There are also stronger group variants called '''Group Shell Shot''' and '''Stacked Shell Shot''', the latter exclusive to Buzzy Beetles. Koopa Troopas do 4-6 damage, Spinies do 7 damage, Buzzy Beetles do 8 damage, and Spike Tops do 17 damage. [[Koopa Paratroopa]]s use a move called '''Flyin' Shell Shot''' that deals 10-13 damage.
