The abilities Squawks have, are just like his abilities from ''Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest''. Quawks also reappears as an item in ''[[Donkey Kong Barrel Blast]]''.

Squawks is able to tell [[Donkey Kong]] and [[Diddy Kong]] where the [[Puzzle Piece|Puzzle Pieces]] are.
