Mario Stadium is a tennis court that appears in Mario Tennis Open as the holder of the traditional Grass, Hard and Clay tennis courts. It is one of the many courts playable from the beginning. It is a starting court, like the Peach Dome courts in its predecessor, Mario Power Tennis. Mario Stadium is where basic tennis courts such as the Hard Court, the Clay Court, and the Grass Court take place in. As mentioned before, all these courts don't need to be unlocked. Like all stadium courts in the sports series, the crowd appears with Toads, Shy Guys, and Koopas cheering on the players or teams. The Ink Showdown Special Game is also played in Mario Stadium. All three courts appear in the final World Open tournament, the Champions Cup. The Hard Court is used in the starting round, the Clay Court is used in the semifinals, and the Grass Court is used in the finals.
Mario Stadium is a court in Mario Hoops 3-on-3. It is the first court in the Mushroom Tourney and the game. A basic court with no gimmicks, this stadium is a good choice for a game of pure basketball. It looks just like a regular stadium, complete with stands and some banners on the sides that has the Square Enix logo and the Nintendo logo. There is an audience of Shy Guys, Goombas, Piantas and Toads cheering for the players. It is also where all the tutorials are held, and in this mode, the stadium has different music. Interestingly, the music used in the Mario Stadium is also used in Glare Desert.

In-game description
There is a reference to Mario Kart DS. On the stands behind the hoops, there are six flags — one with Mario's, one with Toad's, one with Luigi's, one with Peach's, one with Bowser's, and one with Daisy's.
*Grass Court:

The same court also appears in the Wii game Mario Sports Mix in which the player can play all four sports there and this is also where the tutorial takes place. The arena can be a basketball court, an ice hockey rink, a dodgeball court, or a volleyball court. The crowd is also in the arena, cheering for the players during a match.

*Hard Court:
