Super Show!]]'' episode "[[Rolling Down the River]]" the Mouth of the River, wanting to aid Mario and Luigi in their quest to rescue [[Toad]] and [[Princess Peach|Princess Toadstool]], gives them her two magic doodads. Once Mario and Luigi wear these magic doodads around their necks, they are transformed into [[Fire Mario|Super Mario]] and Super Luigi.
