The '''Jungle Tour''' was the eighteenth tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on May 20, 2020 and ended on June 2, 2020. Reflecting its theme around jungles and the ''[[Donkey Kong Country (series)|Donkey Kong Country]]'' series, [[Dixie Kong]] made her playable ''Mario Kart'' debut and [[Funky Kong]] returned after his only ''Mario Kart'' playable appearance in ''[[Mario Kart Wii]]'', while also adding the [[Rambi Rider]] from ''[[Mario Kart DS]]''. This was the first tour that did not add any new courses or any new course variants. The menu's background featured [[Noshi]] as the landmark for this tour. Despite being themed after [[GCN Dino Dino Jungle|Dino Dino Jungle]], however, [[DS DK Pass|DK Pass]] appears as the tour's signature course. The tour took place during the anniversary of the game's closed beta test. With the addition of the [[Bolt Buggy]], all drivers, karts, and gliders from the beta test have been added to the game. This was the last tour with pipes to not feature any special pipes.

Introduced in version 2.1.0, each of the cups' courses and bonus challenges is able to be completed in any order, without the need to complete the previous race beforehand. From this tour, the tier cap has been increased from tier 40 to tier 50.
