They appeared in the small side (where [[Mario]] is small) of [[Tiny Huge Island]] where they were probably even twice the size of Mario. However, as it was Mario who was actually small, the Giant Goomba was actually a normal sized [[Goomba]]. It later appeared in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'' as an enemy in the Subspace Emissary that takes a few more hits to defeat than a regular Goomba. It is not to be confused with the [[Mega Goomba]].
