Dubious image

Is anyone able to find an official source that features this artwork like a magazine or a strategy guide? I have looked through numerous scans and found official artwork of the gray Kaboing, but never saw artwork of the green Kaboing. I'm thinking that this image might be fan-made, though I could be completely wrong. Kong (talk) 02:48, December 8, 2025 (EDT)

That link also features a modified image of Klinger (this is the original image distributed to press), so I wouldn't put full trust in it. To be clear, it's confirmed that the gray Kaboing artwork is official. The green Kaboing image is so similar in resolution (and it seems like the same exact scan as well) to the image we have of the gray Kaboing, it just looks like a descreen filter was applied and the image was flipped. Still not convinced this is official artwork until it can be found in an official source. Kong (talk) 05:30, December 11, 2025 (EDT)

I believe that the green Kaboing image and the modified Klinger image both originate from DKVine. They made many recolorings of official art like for Kritter and Klank to match their in-game appearances, that's probably why the green Kaboing image exists. Kong (talk) 05:55, December 11, 2025 (EDT)
