Editing Event Block

An '''Event Block''' is an item that appears in ''[[Mario Party]]''. It is bought at the [[Mushroom Shop]] for 200 [[Coin]]s, and upon buying it, it can be turned on and off at the [[Mushroom Bank|bank]]. It is hidden in one of the spaces on the board, and when a player lands on that space, the Event Block appears. The player would then get one of three events: [[Boo]], [[Koopa Troopa]], or [[Bowser]]. 

Boo steals Coins or a [[Star (Mario Party series)|Star]] like normal. Koopa Troopa falls from the sky, gives the player 20 Coins then walks off screen. Bowser also falls from the sky with the shock of his landing causing the player to bounce upwards. He takes away 20 Coins or however many the player has if they have fewer. If they have none, Bowser gives them one coin, with the player looking at the screen the same as when they receive a [[Bowser's_bogus_items|bogus item]]. The coin given by Bowser is canceled out if they are on a [[Red Space]]. Finally Bowser jumps back upwards going off-screen.

In later ''Mario Party'' games, the Event Block is replaced with a [[Hidden Block (Mario Party series)|Hidden Block]], which has a similar function. However, up until ''[[Super Mario Party Jamboree]]'', Hidden Blocks could not be activated when landing on a [[Red Space]] unlike an Event Block.
