The '''Cat Parafoil''' is a High-End [[glider]] in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]''. It was introduced in the [[New Year's 2022 Tour]]. As the name suggests, the glider is based on the [[Parafoil]] with a pink color scheme, cat ears, and a tail at the back, that matches [[Cat Mario|Cat Peach]]'s color scheme. Hitting racers with [[Green Shell]]s grants more points when using this glider. There are also several variants of this glider, with the [[Calico Parafoil]] debuting 24 tours prior and the [[Black Cat Parafoil]] debuting alongside the Cat Parafoil. A green variant called the [[Green Cat Parafoil]] debuted in the [[Cat Tour (2022)|2022 Cat Tour]], acting as a signature glider to [[Cat Mario|Cat Luigi]]. The artwork for all of the Cat Parafoils shows the gliders from the front instead of the back like the non-Cat Parafoils.

Two similar gliders named the [[Tanooki Parafoil]] and the [[Gold Tanooki Parafoil]] were added to the game starting from the [[Autumn Tour (2021)|2021 Autumn Tour]]. All items are also classified as High-End gliders.

==Availability==
Starting with the [[Battle Tour]], Cat Parafoil is available in regular tour pipes, including the All-Clear Pipe. However, it is not currently a part of the Daily Selects lineup.
