However, in ''[[Yoshi's Island DS]]'', it was replaced by [[Orange Yoshi]], making it the only color from the original game not to appear in the sequel.

In the original game, Brown Yoshi has a red saddle and red shoes. In the remake, Brown Yoshi wears a red saddle again, but instead of red shoes, it wears darker brown shoes.
