Unlike the Cloud Glider, this glider increases the chances of getting [[Bullet Bill]]s from [[Item Boxes]] and the number of points awarded for hitting racers while using one.

The glider was exclusively obtainable during the [[Ice Tour]] and was part of the second week's spotlight alongside [[Penguin Mario|Penguin Luigi]] and the [[Ice-blue Poltergust]]. It is now exclusive to the [[Hammer Bro Tour]] and will be part of the second week's spotlight, alongside [[Ice Bro]] and [[Fire Bro]].
As of the [[Snow Tour]], the Blizzard Balloons are obtainable from regular tour pipes, including the All-Clear Pipe.
