Krocheads are Kremlings that look exactly like real-world alligators. Krocheads first appear in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and later Donkey Kong Land 2. Only the head of a Krochead is ever seen, and they cannot harm any Kong. Instead, their heads are extremely helpful, the green variety acting as platforms, and the red as springboards. They can be found in either water or lava, and in some levels they bob up and down, making timing a neccesity. Sometimes Krocheads must be summoned to the surface using a Krochead Barrel, this summoning is only temporary though.
