A Hotel is a place where Mario and his Partners can go to sleep so they heal their HP, FP and sometimes SP. It only appears in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and in the Paper Mario series. Even thought they are hotels only one person can be in the hotel, since the hotels only have one bed.
In Super Mario Sunshine, Sirena Beach had a hotel named Hotel Delfino. However this hotel was really big and had many rooms, but the beds didn't heal, and Mario couldn't even sleep in them.
Mario also had a game called Hotel Mario, where the game took place inside a hotel.
