Similar enemies are found in [[Ghost Castle]] of ''[[Yoshi's Story]]''. These tiny ghosts will swoop at Yoshi very rarely, unless he throws an egg at one of the members of the group. Then, all of the Boos will stop in their tracks and swoop at Yoshi. It is impossible to kill all of the Boos, as more will just appear off-screen.  They are similar to the first type in ''Super Mario World'' but they don't turn transparent, are smaller, and can be destroyed.

Template:Species-infobox Disappearing Boo Buddies are indestructable Boos found only in Super Mario World. There are two types.

The first type is found in the Donut Ghost House and Forest Ghost House. They appear as a swarm overhead of Mario. They are usually transparent, which is when they are harmless, but periodically will turn opaque, which is when they are dangerous, to dive at Mario. The only way to deal with them is to run past them and enter another room.

The second type is found in the Sunken Ghost Ship. They are randomly scattered throughout the screen and are completely motionless until they vanish and reappear elsewhere. The best way to deal with them is to move very slowly to avoid colliding into one.

Similar enemies are found in Ghost Castle of Yoshi's Story. These tiny ghosts will swoop at Yoshi very rarely, unless he throws an egg at one of the members of the group. Then, all of the Boos will stop in their tracks and swoop at Yoshi. It is impossible to kill all of the Boos, as more will just appear off-screen. They are similar to the first type in Super Mario World but they don't turn transparent, are smaller, and can be destroyed. They also appear as part of a Big & Little Boo in the stage Jelly Pipe.
