Template:RealPeopleBox Jack Westelmen, better known as Danny Wells (April 7, 1941 – November 28, 2013), was a Canadian character actor and voice actor who portrayed Luigi in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! live action segments and voiced the character in the cartoon segments. He played various other characters in the live-action series as well, such as Mario and Luigi's Aunt Luigeena and their cousin Luigi Bob. Wells worked opposite Lou Albano, who portrayed Mario in both the live action and animated segments.

Wells had played other bit parts in films such as Private Benjamin and TV shows like Small Wonder. He was known for his role as Charlie on The Jeffersons, who owned a bar in the lobby of the Jeffersons' apartment building. A recurring gag is that George Jefferson would be drinking with someone, only to slip out, then having Wells hand the bill to the other person. Regarding Mario, Wells later remarked his surprise at the show's popularity; "We were in an afternoon timeslot, and going toe to toe with the Disney Channel".

Twenty-four years after the conclusion of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, on November 28, 2013, Wells died in Toronto, Canada at age 72.
