Bowser's Castle (race course)
- This article is about the race course. For the actual castle, see Bowser's Castle. For the Mario Kart Super Circuit Tracks, see Bowser Castle 1, 2, 3 and 4. Also, there is the Mario Superstar Baseball stadium.
Like Rainbow Road, every Mario Kart game has a Bowser Castle course. These courses vary from game to game, but usually include lava hazards, Thwomps, and tight turns.
In Mario Kart 64, the course has lot of Thwomps as they have the job to block the drivers in their way. It also has Bowser statues that shoot fire. Near the end of the course, the player goes to the roof of the castle.
In Mario Kart: Double Dash!! this course has a lot of fire, some Thwomps and it even has pictures of Bowser Jr. in one room. The entrance to the castle is a bridge, and the entrance also Bowser's face. The course in this game is named Bowser's Castle.
In the Mario Kart DS course there's a spinning log that if you fall off of, you will not fall in the lava but rather land in a garden and lose some time. There are also Thwomps and fire as always. Also, in the spinning circle, if you not rather go to the first passage, go all the way round and go through the red carpet with a moving Thwomp on it.
In Mario Kart Wii has the stage the same functions as it has in Mario Kart: Double Dash!, but the entrace has no longer Thwomps and is dizzy. It is also extended quite a bit aswell. Mario Kart Super Circuit's Bowser Castle 3 and Mario Kart 64's Bowser Castle, also reappears with changes in term of gameplay. GBA Bowser Castle 3 now has mud on some place while N64 Bowser Castle features Podobos on some places.
