Boo Mario is a new form of Mario's that will appear in the upcoming game Super Mario Galaxy; as its name implies, the Boo Mario form is Mario having changed into a Boo, though with his hat and face remaining relatively the same.
In order to change into Boo Mario, Mario was shown to grab a floating, white mushroom with an open mouth that instantly transformed him; the full extent of Boo Mario's powers are currently unknown, though he was shown to be capable of being unnoticed by other boos.
In a magazine where Shigeru Miyamoto was interviewed, a certain screenshot was shown to have Mario interacting with another Boo. The Boo had a blush on its face, possibly meaning that Mario can get Boos to help him as Boo Mario.
