Sharpea

Template:MLinfobox Sharpeas are the Beanbean Kingdom versions of Spinies. They are the first spiked enemy encountered in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and thus are the first enemies that cannot be defeated by a Jump attack in the game (unless there's a special Badge equipped). They are thrown by Lakipeas, and Mario and Luigi's Hammer attacks work well against them. Sharpeas are found in areas around Beanbean Castle, as well as a few at the very bottom of Hoohoo Mountain. Luigi's Thunderhand is also critical to them, but by the time that the player gets there, they should already have enough power to kill them without it.
Sharpeas always assist Sworms in battle.
