My edit on the Ludwig page

I already had a feeling that someone would delete my edit despite the reference I added. So thanks for restoring it. Still. Some questions for you. Why was "precocious" changed to "presumptuous"? Both have quite a different meaning. Was the translation wrong? Aside from that. Is it normal that Bop1996 can just ignore the reference I added and delete all my edits on all five Koopaling pages I edited? He has now deleted my edit on Roy's page too. --2wiki 14:29, 15 November 2011 (EST)

Wait

Why can't a range block be done on the IP(s) Plumber is using to sock? Previous Nintendo logo (2006-2016): In 2006, the logo's color scheme was changed from red to gray and the registered symbol was made more smaller.64Fan (Discussion) 00:53, 13 November 2011 (EST)

The ranges that can be blocked are 58.110.0.0/16 and don't forget 58.163.0.0/16 --Bryce emoticon-00159-music.gif talk emoticon-00159-music.gif contributions 01:01, 13 November 2011 (EST)
And also don't forget 58.110.240.0/22 --Bryce emoticon-00159-music.gif talk emoticon-00159-music.gif contributions 01:04, 13 November 2011 (EST)
The biggest problem is that this guy is using DYNAMIC IPs, and thus, it's VERY difficult for us to stop this guy completely. The best we can do is every time he tries to create new accounts to bypass every single ban we place on him, we just block those as well. And IP bans are done in extremely rare circumstances -- even then, according to the rules, we have to place a temporary time limited on them too so that legitimate users can still sign up under that said IP that we blocked in hopes of getting a certain banned user to cease their disruptive ways on this wiki. --M. Range blocks are for dynamic IP addresses. It can be done by inputting similar IP's in the same range into a range block calculator, then the range will be determined. --Bryce emoticon-00159-music.gif talk emoticon-00159-music.gif contributions 07:47, 13 November 2011 (EST)
He's not harming the wiki and there aren't an overwhelming amount of socks being made or whatever, so there's no need to go blocking swathes of IPs, which could potentially affect innocent users as well. - Walkazo 12:41, 13 November 2011 (EST)

Just in case you aren't already aware

We need to keep an eye on SM64LoZ (talk) and XX Yoshi Rocks Xx (talk). They both have the same IP address. Mario4Ever (talk)

Imageframe(?) tag?

Hey Walkazo, I've tried asking 2257 about something (it's pretty important because I need it for NWiki), but he didn't seem to be responding - so here is the original message:

  • "Hello 2257, I recall seeing some kind of imageframe tag being used in one of the articles in MarioWiki and I can't seem to figure out where it is, or what the name is. I need to know what is the name of the tag, and how it functions. As far as my knowledge goes, it allows you to display two images in a frame without any overlapping. Do you know what it is? Can you please assist me?"

Can you please answer? --RAP.pngRAP... 22:46, 13 November 2011 (EST)

I'm pretty sure you're looking for {{Multiple image}} and/or {{Multiframe}}. A handy back-to-back comparison is here. Other examples of {Multiple image} in use can be found here (different sized images), here (same sized images), and here (one summary for both images). Examples of {Multiframe} are here (comparing background-less images, whereas the first template is good for images with backgrounds) and here (making more room for a caption and even adding a background colour). Hopefully that's what you're looking for. - Walkazo 23:34, 13 November 2011 (EST)
Oh yes! Thank you thank you thank you; I'm definitely going to add these two things into the to-do list. Freaking epic! --RAP.pngRAP... 01:35, 14 November 2011 (EST)
