That's part of the reason I'm glad I can't go on Chat: one little mistake can kill you. That's true pretty much everywhere, but on Chat, it's like they're waiting to eat you alive (when they're not being ADD about everything). Yeah. I might ask to get a repromotion now that the situation has died down, but whether I get promoted or not doesn't matter, I've been a "regular" user for most of my time on the wiki and it isn't that bad. You should wait some time before asking, since your original decision to resign would just look rash if you immediately turn around and ask for the power back. Also, if you're fine with being a "regular" user, you might not even find the need to ask - if you're willing to wait, we'll probably repromote you sooner or later on our own grounds (i.e. next time we need a new admin.). I make no promises, but I'll be sure to mention you're up for the job once/now that the Chat incident's water under the bridge. - Walkazo

Hey, Walkazo. I realize that my redirect was not capitalized. Many redirects are not capitalized, and for a reason: so users can access articles with ease and not have to capitalize all the letters when they search for it. --Yoshario

I unprotected the YIDS babies, but Yoshario already dealt with Image:Luigismansion-01.jpg (if you use a colon before "image", it comes out as a link, not the image itself; just do [[:Image:THIS.see]]. It also works with categories). - Walkazo 18:56, 6 August 2009 (EDT)

Help on Youtube

On the help page it says you need to figure out a videos ID in order to put a Youtube video on your User page. But, I have no idea how to figure out a videos ID. Is it on or near the video? Do you need to have a youtube account? Ratfink43

Bowser, Mario, Timelines and stuff

I know that this could be concidered spam but I want to write it nevertheless.
I have read what you wrote on your Userpage and I agree with most of the things. Bowser really needs to play a bigger role and I am personally tired of him being the bad guy who gets pummeled all the time. I also agree with Mario being overrated and that Nintendo should stop being so confusing and establish an appropriate timeline.

I don't really know why I am writing that. Just suddenly felt an urge to second you.

Thank you very much for noticing my work :3 I saw a comment on the talk page of the main article, concerning the improvement of Wario-Articles. The comment was from 2006 though, so I thought I could help out by creating a list of levels for that game.

Ok, now to the pointers: I was thinking about the problem with gender-neutrality myself but I couldn't think of a solution (don't be confused, I am a native German speaker and english is just my first foreign language ;3). I will keep it in mind for the future and look over the articles I have written so far to correct any mistakes.
And for the code-stuff: I really am a klutz when it comes down to things like that and I'm not with you all long enough to understand that whole business yet. I witnessed someone editing that "br clear=all"-thingy on the article and I kept using it from that day on. To be honest: I have no idea what that thing does ^^ I have much to learn yet.
I was planning on posting some request on the forums once I'm done, asking for some people to look over and check the articles since it is likely that I made some mistakes due to language-problems.

Add <br clear=all>s to the PM list to make it less crowded, and add a Yakkey section too (link to the Yakkey article with {{Main}}). Also, create a mock-up of the final Key article to show how useable, consistent and efficient the whole system will be. "Key" will house the overall key exposition ("keys open things in Mario games"), list both the unnamed keys and the keys with individual articles (i.e. the living keys, linked to with {{Main}}), and the Mario Party keys that don't have their own pages (Bowser Key really needs to be separated sometime); the links to the two other lists should either be included in the "SM64DS" and "Paper Mario series" sections, also with {{Main}}. Once all that's done, we can work on wording the proposal so that the benefits of three lists over one list and dozens of unexpandable stubs will be irrefutable. However, there's no time to save the current proposal - it is doomed to failure at this point. You can ask a Sysop to delete it, saying you no longer support the single list idea as a result of everyone's comments and would like to propose something better instead (which is true); I'd delete it for you based on that reasoning, but since I'm now personally involved with the Proposal, it wouldn't be right (I don't want to be accused of abusing my power). Try asking Time Q: he's opposing the change, so he'd have no ulterior motive for giving it a second chance at life, but he's reasonable enough to not deny you just because he personally disagrees with your idea; he's also one of the de-facto rulers of the Proposals page (IMO), so it's right up his alley. But if worse comes to worst, we'll just have to bide our time and bring it back in a month. - Walkazo 22:50, 27 August 2009 (EDT)

Yeah I'm not exactly sure why it's supposed to be written that way. Especially since regular in HTML <br /> is something totally different.
