Cuckoo Condor is the third boss in the Game Boy Advance game Wario Land 4. Is guards the Ruby Passage. Cuckoo Condor lives up to both parts of its name. At first, it takes the appearance of a large cuckoo clock. To attack, it can use a large claw to pick Wario up and bring him over to one of the large saw blades on the sides of the screen. It can also summon saw blades and electrical shocks to attack. Wario must attack the large claw that it uses to attack, causing it to swing up and damage the boss.

After taking enough damage, the clock falls away, revealing a large condor form underneath (though it does not really resemble condors.) In this stage, Cuckoo Condor will lay eggs, which break upon contact with the ground. Yellow Ducks will hatch immediately from these eggs, and attempt to touch into Wario, self-destructing on contact. Wario must catch the eggs as they fall, then throw them at the small condor on Cuckoo Condor's head to continue to inflict damage. These Ducks are very similar to the Black Ducks in the battle against the Golden Diva. After enough hits, Cuckoo Condor is defeated and Wario is rewarded with the creature's Earrings.

Time given in different modes

The time given to defeat the boss varies on the game mode.

  • Normal: the time given is 4:00 minutes.
  • Hard: the time given is 3:00 minutes.
  • S-Hard (unlockable): the time given is 2:00 minutes.
