Glitches[edit]

Hello, Yoshiabel55555! Thanks for your contributions. When writing titles for media like games, films, TV shows, and publications, please remember to italicize them. This is done by placing two straight apostrophes (not quotation marks or curly apostrophes) on both sides of the title, or clicking on the I icon above the text box and typing out the title. For example, typing out ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' generates Super Mario Bros.
Hello, Yoshiabel55555! Thanks for your contributions. When writing, avoid using first- and second-person perspective with pronouns like "you". As an encyclopedia site, we write in third-person and not from a specific person's point of view or referring directly to the reader, so the term "the player", or the character's name, should instead be used in the pronouns' place.

Also, if possible, please provide sources for your glitch findings. Lucina costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 21:31, November 23, 2023 (EST)

Thanks and question[edit]

Hello Mario JC. Thank you for the improvements that you have told me, I have liked this page for years and I have always wanted to add my contributions to help have greater knowledge. The fact that you told me how to improve all of this motivates me to improve the edits I make. Thank you so much.

Now, I don't know if you know this, but I just got self-verified or whatever it's called, that is, being able to edit most of the pages. I want to be able to add a Glitches section for a game that is not yet on the page, and I go to the Glitches section and I don't get the option to create. Even though I have the name in blue, do I have to have something else or can only certain people? Or I just don't know how to do it? I hope someone can answer this question, either here or by email, which is in my profile. Greetings, and have a good Friday, or whatever day it is when you read this.

Sincerely,

Yoshiabel55555

You're autoconfirmed now, so you should be able to edit any game article, semi-protected or not. You just need to add a new "Glitches" section somewhere on the article (ideally, after all of the important game elements like enemies, levels etc.; have a look at other articles on the wiki to get an idea of where on the page it should go), like this:
==Glitches==

Thanks, I already created it. It's in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Although, the doubt that I really had was that I wanted to add the section "List of Glitches in Super Mario Bros. Wonder" in the Glitches category, where are all the games like: "List of Glitches in Super Mario Bros." or "List of Glitches in Super Mario 64", in case you didn't understand me, in this link: https://www.mariowiki.com/Category:Glitches. It's just because I would like to add it there so that it is much more visible and people don't have to go all the way down. Sorry for being so annoying and asking questions, I'm just curious to know how to do it and thus add games that are not yet on the list. I would appreciate it if you could explain to me how to add them in that specific section. Sorry for explaining myself so badly. Thank you and have a good day, afternoon or night, regardless of the time in your country.

Note: Sorry. I already saw that the Glitches section was placed, if you want, ignore this message.

Note 2: I don't understand why the Mario Wonder section has been placed in the L and why I can no longer put the text in italics. Could you help me know how to do it or move it yourself, please?
The preceding unsigned comment was added by Yoshiabel55555 (talk).

A separate page isn't necessary if there's only one in the section so far, so it doesn't get an entry in the glitches category until there is a page. There should only be a page created once the section becomes extensive enough for its own list page.
I'm not sure what you mean by "in the L"; as for italics, that should only be used for titles for games, series etc., but it's done by placing two apostrophes before and after the text, not asterisks: ''Super Mario Bros. Wonder'' Lucina costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 04:31, November 25, 2023 (EST)

"The player/character"[edit]

"The player" or "the character" should be referred to as "they" or "them", not "he" or "him"; not all players/characters are male.

Also, please remember to italicise game titles and source glitches as much as you can, as I mentioned above. Lucina costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 07:53, November 28, 2023 (EST)
